Anyone see Pan’s Labyrinth? Remember the scene with the, “Pale Man,” sitting at the table with the feast before him. Today I read an interpretation proposing that his form is allegorical to fascist patriarchy. Accumulator of the world’s wealth, his eyes in his hands because he only sees the material. Temped by his spoil, should you eat from his table, he will seek to devour you. DON’T EAT FROM THE TABLE! (or at least figure out what it means to stop since, in my opinion, we all already have.)
